Chapter XXX: The Lonely Path...
The whole planet of Aiur is in turmoil, Zerg swarms is crawling everywhere and the Protoss is trying their best to defeat them. Here, I am standing in front of Sarah Carrigan, the girl I once loved. But she is no more, consumes by Zerg and became Queen of Blade, serving her master, Overmind. “Sarah, please…don’t do this. I don’t wanna hurt you,” said Colonel Vincent MacLeod. She burst into laughter and said “Hahahaha, hurt me? Did you say hurt me? Hahahahaha,”. “Please Sarah, I am serious…you still can come back with me, to Earth, there we can cure you and change you back to…” said Vince. Without letting Col. Vincent MacLeod to finish, she answered “To what? Human? You are really naïve Vince…that’s why I can deceive you when I was still under your lead. Today, Aiur will fall and I will take you back to the Overmind, dead or alive.”
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Sarah, please…don’t do this. I don’t wanna hurt you.
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: Hahahaha, hurt me? Did you say hurt me? Hahahahaha.
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Please Sarah, I am serious…you still can come back with me, to Earth, there we can cure you and change you back to…
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: To what? Human? You are really naïve Vince…that’s why I can deceive you when I was under your lead. Today, Aiur will fall and I will take you back to the Overmind, dead or alive.
She begins to attack Vince with her claw. Vince has no choice but to draw his sword from the sheath which is tied at his back and blocked her attack.
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Sarah, I still love you, even you have betrayed me…I still loved you…
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: Then what about her?!!(Pointing her claw at Sharol Lam. She is still lying on the ground, knocked out unconscious by Sarah.)
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD:…
Vince could not say anything. After he found out that Sarah is working with the pirates’ organization, he thought the relationship they had was just a plot for her to complete her mission in Stargate Command. After Major Sarah Carrigan plot was found out by Vince, she escaped and head back to her organization. Later, after Major Carrigan was captured by Zerg on a mission, Vince thought she was KIA. After working together with Dr. Sharol Lai, he fell in love with her. That is why he could not answer to Sarah’s question.
Sarah jump back and remain a distance between Vince. She prepares to attack again.
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: Because you loved her, that is why you couldn’t answer me. Hahahahaha, never mind, I will just kill you and turn her into one of the Zerg, hmm maybe like the infested human you saw back then…hahahaha.
With anger, Vince hold his sword to his chest with the tip pointing at Sarah and charge at her. When he tried to thrust her with the sword, she form an X using the claw and trapped his sword. She pushes his sword down to the right and used her left claw and slashed Vince chest. He retreated a few step and hold the bleeding chest with his left arm. Vince began to breathe heavily because of the injury. She charges to Vince with her right claw and tried thrust at his face, but Vince dodge to the left while repelling the attack with his sword. But she extended her left claw and thrust to Vince hip. It slightly sliced his flesh. Vince falls down to the ground give out a painful scream. Vince breath faster and heavier due to his injury…
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Huh…huh…huh..Is…Is it tru..e that(cough)…you have forgotten yourself?(Cough,cough)…Why…Why…
Vince has totally lost hope. He felt so pain, not from his wound, but from his heart. If he had made it on time reaching to her location, she will not be captured by the Zerg and become what she is now. His grip on his sword is already loosen, he do not intend to fight anymore…Without warning, Sarah charge up with her right claw and aiming at Vince chest. Vince just kneel there without any intention to block or dodge this attack…he intend to be killed by her, running away from everything. Out of nowhere, Sharol Lam appeared in front of Vince, covering him with both arm extended. The claw was impaled to Sharol’s chest. Sarah withdrew her claw as Sharol fall to the ground. Sarah expression was very shock as well and she never intends to kill Sharol.
Vince was very shock, realizing what happened. He took Sharol onto his arm and cried.
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Why…why you must do this…(tear was in his eyes.)
SHAROL LAM: Because I don’t want to see you die…I..(coughing blood)
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: (His was painful when he saw Sharol coughing blood.) Why, why must you be that stupid…
SHARON LAM: I…(cough)..I loved…you…that why…please…(cough)…don’t die…live on(cough)…I loved you…(She stopped breathing and her head fall to the other side.)
COLONEL VINCENT MACLEOD: Sharol!!! Sharol!!! AHHH!!!!! (He hugs her and yells out.)
This is the first time in his life to feel so much pain in his heart…His lover killed by his lover…Then he gaze at Sarah. Now, Vince is full of anger. He has lost himself, now in his mind, he only wanted to avenge Sharol. He put down Sharol and took his sword. He charge to Sarah with a thrust, Sarah was quite shock with the speed and she form an X to hold off the attack. Without warning, Vince changes his moved and spins the sword down and performs a crescent slash from below. The sword slashed her hips to the shoulder. She falls to the ground and pickup her self.
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: (In her mind) That’s fast, it was way faster then before…
This sudden increase of agility frightens her. Vince still remains from the same position after slashed her. Then Vince moved his sword into a low defense stance. Then charge to her at great speed, he slashed again from below but parried by both of her claw, but she did not know that he continue to cut from above and it hacked of her right arm. She fell down and rolled back. When she trying to do anything, the sword tip is already pointing at her face.
But Vince withdrew his sword and walks away. The guilt in his heart has stopped Vince from killing her. Sarah took this chance and extends her left palm and cast Psionic Lighting towards Vince. He turns back and repels it using the sword. Then she used her mind to summon the nearby Zerg brethren to cover her while she escaping by flying with her wings.
QUEEN OF BLADE, SARAH CARRIGAN: I will forever remember this…Hahahahaha
A few of Zergling charge against Vince. He defended himself with the sword and defeated all of them. After that, he sheaths his sword and carries the body of Sharol on his arm…
Summary for this chapter
The High Templar Tassadar sacrifices himself to destroy the Overmind by concentrating dark psionic energy into his ship and crash it into the Overmind. The Zerg were in chaos because of sudden lost of their leader. With the lost of their leader, the Zerg became more savage and attack anything on sight. The Protoss were not able to expel the Zerg from their homeworld. Dark Templar Zeratul suggested to the Protoss to escape to Shakuras, the homeworld of Dark Templar. Without any choice, they dialed the Shakuras address into the Stargate. A lot of Templar stayed behind the Stargate to cover the other going thru the gate. Colonel Vincent MacLeod also stayed behind to provide cover. The UED Forces(United Earth Directorate) also escaped to Shakuras.
With the dead of the Overmind, the Cerebrates and the Queen of Blade is no longer under control. Will Queen of Blade thoughts be the same like she was once human?

Yes, this story is created by merging a lot of sci-fi stories. One of the most notable is Starcraft. The stories mostly focus on the element of Stargate. This is just one of the chapter, there is still more to come. Furthermore, this chapter is kinda old because my new chapters have already gone pass these scenes.
Abit summary on the main character Colonel Vincent MacLeod. He is a member of SG-3 Marines back in year 2000. On one of the mission in the year 2005, he was frozen by some sort of weapon sent to an alternate reality universe. After 72 years later which is year 2077, Vince was defrosted and revives. When he woke up, he found out that everything was different. He also suffered some memory loss. He couldn’t really remember a lot of thing but he still knows his name though. But after some time, he slowly regains his memory., but not totally recovered yet. *SPOILER* The character Vince was unaware that he might not be what he think he is. This has already been reveal in the later chapter in Stargate Beyond: Atlantis chapter.
Sorry for the violent of this content…most word I used is kill, kill, hack, kill. Well, that the way it is for this character. As for Ocean’s 10, the production was halted due to lack of idea and budget :p. But will continue back in the far future…
